Today’s episode is with Dr. Zac Pilossoph, Chief Veterinary Officer of CBD Dog Health. This interview was a very pleasant surprise for me as he is a student of personal self-development – a subject near and dear to my heart. It came at a time when I have been contemplating where my journey is taking me and what my focus should be moving forward… but I digress!

Dr. Zac Pilossoph, a nationally recognized Fear-Free Certified integrative veterinarian, and top graduate of Tufts University Veterinary School is currently one of the most cannabis-focused vets at the forefront of holistic veterinary medicine. Dr. Zac began proactively studying medical cannabis for animals only a couple of years after graduating veterinary school. Frustrated by the challenges he saw both pet parents and vets experiencing when trying to find accurate information regarding CBD, Dr. Zac dedicated years of time and effort towards educating and advocating for the responsible consideration and use of cannabis-based therapies for pets. After speaking and working independently for some time, he eventually joined forces with CBD Dog Health’s owner and pet cannabis expert, Angela Ardolino, and the Veterinary Cannabis Society, in order to continue the mission of delivering responsible cannabis education to the public. With so much information and misinformation available nowadays, Dr. Zac is driven to continue helping those who want to learn and know more find trust in this amazing plant, and support veterinarians as they find the courage to include vetted cannabis-based therapies into the health and wellness plans for pets everywhere.
